KRUGER PARK LODGE
The family-friendly Kruger Park Lodge is an award-winning golf resort located along the banks of the majestic Sabie River.
Situated in the picturesque Panorama Route of Mpumalanga, South Africa; the resort has a sub-tropical bush feel and is surrounded by extensive indigenous gardens – making it an ideal vacation resort with lots of open space. The Kruger Park Lodge is centrally located in the farming town of Hazyview, and only 10 km from the Phabeni gate entrance to the Kruger National Park (KNP). Alternative access into the KNP can also be gained from the Numbi Gate, approximately 15 km away.
Kruger Park Lodge is located on a secure, 110 hectare estate with 24 hour security and access control; assuring guests can enjoy the beautiful surroundings of the resort safe in the knowledge they are being looked after.
In addition to the award-winning golf course, designed by South African golfing legend Gary Player – Kruger Park Lodge boasts four tennis courts and three outdoor swimming pools, including a splash pool for children.
Those wishing to explore the lush, green surroundings of Hazyview can take advantage of our picturesque nature trails, following the banks of the Sabie River and meandering through our serene 3050 m golf course.
There is also a range of fun activities for younger guests including table tennis, mini-golf and trampolines; as well as plenty of space for them to run around and let off steam!
Kruger Park Lodge is a paradise in the Lowveld
The Kruger Park Lodge hippo hide provides guests with a once-in-a-lifetime game viewing opportunity of experiencing hippo relaxing in their natural environment; as well as an occasional guest appearance from the Kruger National Park crocodiles.
As well as our resident hippos, a large herd of impala roam freely around Kruger Park Lodge estate, and can often be seen congregating in the shade of the trees to avoid the midday heat.
The hide is also the perfect spot for bird lovers! Each year, millions of birds from around the world migrate to South Africa and make their homes along the tree-lined banks of the Sabie River. A variety of species are present at Kruger Park Lodge and bird life can often be seen resting in the trees or diving for their dinner in the fish-rich waters of the Sabie River.
Kruger Park Lodge (Golf Safari SA) Self Catering Accommodation
The privately owned three bedroom safari lodges operated by Golf Safari SA are all fitted with a fully equipped kitchen and open plan living-dining area. All of our chalets are non smoking, and fitted with air conditioning.
For those who prefer not to cook, the on-site restaurant serves breakfast and dinner as well as a pub lunch menu throughout the day. The Kruger Park Lodge bar is open daily, serving a selection of beers, wine and cocktails as well as non-alcoholic beverages.
The lodge also boasts a 50-seater conference centre suitable for large functions, as well as meetings and corporate events.
The resort hosts a traditional South African ‘Bring-and Braai’ event each week, in which guest and owners come together to relax and share food; this is a fantastic opportunity for guests and owners to get to know each other.
Kruger Park Lodge has a 24 h reception; however, it is politely advised that guests aim to check-in no later than 9 pm.
The nearby town of Hazyview boasts a number of delicious restaurants from Steakhouses to Italian food; as well as a number of popular fast food outlets.
