LOCATION OF KRUGER PARK LODGE

Situated in Hazyview, the Kruger Park Lodge location is in the heart of the Panorama Route in Mpumalanga. This makes it the ideal base to visit many of the famous tourist attractions of the Lowveld. The close proximity to the Kruger National Park is even more reason to stay at the Kruger Park Lodge. Phabeni gate is a mere 10 km away, while the Numbi gate is approximately 16 km in the opposite direction. The popular Kruger Gate can also easily be reached, this being 45 km from the entrance of the Kruger Park Lodge.
The entrance to the Kruger Park Lodge is less than 1 km from the Blue Haze Shopping Mall. This boasts over 200 shops including a large Pick ‘n Pay, Checkers and Spar for grocery shopping. Many of the well known fast-food outlets are also represented. There are also pharmacies, clothing stores amongst many others.

Kruger Park Lodge is situated on a large (over 110 hectare) private golf estate with beautifully layed out gardens. There are an abundance of large trees as well as many little dams that have been integrated into the Gary Player designed golf course. The constant flow of the Sabie River gives it an extremely relaxing atmosphere. Adding to this is the open space between the face-brick thatched chalets. Together with the resident herd of impala that can roam freely on the property, Kruger Park Lodge gives that bush-type feeling which the Lowveld is renowned for.
Hazyview is situated approximately 400 km from Johannesburg and only 60 km from the Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport. The easiest and safest way to travel to the Kruger Park Lodge from Johannesburg is approximately 330 km along the N4 to Nelspruit. A further 25 km to White River and then 45 km to Hazyview. The sub-tropical climate in Hazyview makes the Kruger Park Lodge location an ideal holiday destination. Throughout the year the weather is favourable, with the summer months being wetter and hotter than the winter period. In summer it can easily reach over 35 deg C, but the heat is often cooled by a short thunderstorm in the afternoon. The winter months are cooler when temperatures normally range to between 5 and 10 deg C during the night. However, during the day they can easily reach the mid to upper 20’s. It is not uncommon to even have mid-day temperatures of 30 deg C on a sunny day.
