Pinnacle Point Beach & Golf Resort is a world class golf resort and is situated along the coast line of the Indian Ocean. It has dramatic sea views from its elevated position from which whales, dolphins and seals can often be seen while playing a round of golf. Mossel Bay has a unique semi-arid micro-climate with 320 sunny days per year. In 1992 it was listed in the Guinness Book of records as having the second mildest climate in the world. The summer period (November to March) is typically the drier season while rain is more likely to occur during the winter months (May to August). This area often suffers from drought and guests are kindly asked to use water sparingly. Mossel Bay is surrounded by the most beautiful areas ranging from indigenous rain forests to the semi-arid Karoo landscape. This area is less known for its game farms, however, only 63 km from Pinnacle Point, the Big 5 can be seen in a private game reserve from the back of an open Landrover.
